When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and optional profile information (bio, country, avatar). When you use the app, we collect ratings, list entries, and interaction data to provide personalized recommendations.
2. Third-Party Services
Ranked integrates with third-party services including Spotify, Steam, Netflix, Letterboxd, and Discord. When you connect these services, we access your data as authorized by you through each platform's OAuth flow. We only store the data necessary to provide our features.
We use TMDB, RAWG, and Spotify APIs for content metadata (titles, posters, descriptions). This data is fetched on demand and not permanently stored on our servers.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Providing personalized recommendations and Taste DNA analysis
- Matching you with Taste Twins and enabling social features
- Generating AI-powered predictions and Group Swipe results
- Sending notifications you've opted into (streak reminders, weekly wrapped)
- Improving the app experience through aggregated, anonymized analytics
4. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Your Rights
You can export or delete your account data at any time from the app settings. For data requests or concerns, contact us at privacy@myranked.app.
6. Children's Privacy
Ranked is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or email.
